Chicha, Gastón Acurio’s restaurant, has become a platform that celebrates the regional richness of Peruvian cuisine. At Provincia, we led a comprehensive rebranding project covering visual identity, communications and architecture, inspired by chicha as an ancient drink and cultural symbol. The new visual language combines heritage research, museum aesthetics and artisanal experimentation, ranging from a logo created using fermented chicha to spaces that evoke traditional earthenware vessels. The modular communication strategy connects each city with local pride under the slogan “Let’s celebrate _____ with Chicha”, projecting Peruvian cuisine into the future without losing sight of its roots.
